Bobbi Gibb sculpture to commemorate women’s running history

MetroWest Daily News | Roberta ‘Bobbi’ Gibb, who is the first woman to complete the Boston Marathon when she did so as an unregistered runner in 1966, created the sculpture based on a famous photo of herself near the finish line.
