It's Marathon Time:Celebrate Something Extraordinary!
The community gathered in Hopkinton to celebrate the 129th running of the Boston Marathon® presented by Bank of America, which took place on Monday, April 21st. The 26.2 Foundation partnered with the Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) to present The Start of Something Extraordinary — a series of events and initiatives designed to connect the community with this historic race and its iconic starting point in Hopkinton. The program featured an art exhibition and auction, a self-guided art and education tour, stories, songs, and more, all celebrating and honoring the legacy, spirit, and power of marathoning.
